If you let anybody rent space in your head that you don't actually like or care about, then you'll always lose at a game you shouldn't even be playing.

Everything about you and your sense of self should come from within.

 

Entire articles are written by people saying this is a fallacy and that words are as damaging as fists. Don’t develop a tough shell but demand that the world be responsible for your self esteem. The word snowflake was never better used.

 

I can easily identify those who are not worth my or anybody’s attention, I merely move ahead on my own intellectual power, undistracted. Just be strong. Ignore them because they seek the attention of those they can dominate and crave the support of others like them. Without attention they are cut off of their fuel. And they know it.

Lol my ego is way too big for anyone to make me feel inferior. Weak people allow others to make them feel as they are less than. Self-esteem should'nt be dictated by outside forces. Weak people don't go far in this world unless they find it in themselves to use that feeling of inferiority to elevate their position. That's their only hope.

 

Amen! Snowflakes who think that the world owes them self esteem would be shocked if this country were ever overthrown by the Chinese or the Russians or some Middle Eastern power because those groups would not put up with the whining. There is a large problem with that statement. Certain people really are inferior, with or without been told or consenting. It is just nature.

 

As to the original statement: "...…….without your consent!" I don't believe that. There have been people I looked up to and had good reason to respect their opinion. Had they said negative things about me I would've been very bothered by that. I doubt I could so easily rationalize that said people since they "dissed me" were now, never quite as good as I had thought.
