when you really grasp the shear SIZE of the known Universe, and the NUMBER of star systems in it, it makes it an eventuality that there ARE other Earthlike planets, and probably HAVE been. Now, parallel evolution is problematical.

Of course there are many "Earth like planets" in the Universe - but it's equally certain that we will never visit them with out present technology as they are light years away - BUT - what about a Parallel Universe, where another YOU is enjoying probably an entirely different lifestyle to YOU?

What if by some strange quirk you could be transported to this parallel Universe in a split second, and have to live the NEW life of your other YOU, whatever weird rules they had there, as you would not want to compromise your other YOU's existence when you returned to our Universe?
