The first check of Jack Nicklaus' professional golf career was for $33.33

Jack Nicklaus earned $26 million during his professional golfing career. Those winnings started in 1962, when he tied for 50th place in the Los Angeles Open and received a check for $33.33.

Nicklaus posted the check on Wednesday, 52 years after receiving it.

After finishing 50th in the Los Angeles Open, Nicklaus went on to win 18 major championships. So, not bad.
